Poster # 1100 4D-CT Pulmonary Ventilation Image-guided Radiotherapy Planning Is Significantly Influenced by Deformable Image Registration Algorithms and Metrics

Presenter: Tokihiro Yamamoto, PhD

About the Presenter:
I'm a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University. My research interests focus on the development and application of functional imaging techniques for improved radiotherapy cancer treatment, especially for lung cancer. The overall goal of the current study is to develop a novel functional imaging technique for pulmonary ventilation with 4D-CT, and also to investigate its applications to adaptive lung cancer radiotherapy for functional avoidance.
